Tree of Gold
Every day on my way to school I pass this tree. Most of the year it is covered in greenery, but about a week ago I noticed something had changed. All of the sudden it was covered in the most beautiful yellow flowers from top to bottom. Not a single green leaf was anywhere to be found, and the amount of yellow was so dramatic. I couldn't help but stare at it every time I drove by, and I felt compelled to stop so many times. So today I finally remembered to take my camera with me so that I could stop and take a few pictures of it. Many of the blooms (about 50%) have fallen to the ground, and surrounding the tree there was a blanket of the yellow blooms. It is still a beautiful sight, but to see this tree in full bloom, before they began to fall...well, it is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I hope to notice it again (I'm sure I will) just after it blooms again (late winter/early spring) so that I can show you a picture of it completely covered in the blooms.
