I have also had the good fortune of "meeting", via email, a woman named Maureen who is friends with Dr. Tony and volunteered with him in Peru back in 1985-86. She found my blog, and we have emailed a few times about the children, the Hogar, and about Dr. Tony. She attended the fundraiser that was mentioned in the news article. As someone that has been to the Hogar she attests to the fact that to visit there is a "life changing experience". I could not agree with her more.

Dr. Tony
Dr. Tony is in Tampa for a few weeks (this is his hometown), and last week he was interviewed by one of the local news stations about the Hogar and a fundraiser that was held for Villa La Paz. It is so good to see Dr. Tony and to hear his voice. He is the most amazing man I have ever had the privilege to know.
