Visit with Stacie and the kiddos

Stacie and the kids came down for the weekend (Friday until Monday), and it was great to visit with all of them. Kaid is just the cutest little boy, and Sean fell in love with him.  Everywhere we went Sean was holding him, rocking him to sleep, and playing with him.  Erin and Ivee had a blast together.  They are only three months apart in age, and being the only girls they were inseparable.  Bren, Zaye and Sage all hung out together playing computer games, Playstation 3, or running around outside.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Keren and Bryan

I have been working with Bryan for five years (he started the year after me). About three years ago Keren joined the Actsoft family. They were married this past weekend at Sand Key Beach, and it was an absolutely beautiful wedding. The weather could not have been more perfect, and the two of them were absolutely gorgeous. Brian (Kowalski) and Bryan are golfing partners, so there is a connection outside of Actsoft as well.

Here are a few of the pictures that I took of them during the wedding. (Click on any picture for a larger view)

Neighborhood festival

Our neighborhood had its annual fall festival today. It's cooling off (low 80's and low humidity), so the weather was perfect, and the kids had a great time. Sean won a huge basket in the raffle (tickets were free to residents) that was filled with arts and crafts supplies, snacks, a couple of hardcover children's books, etc. These are a few pictures I took while we were there today. Not so much of the festival (because I was playing with Erin), but of them afterwards. Our friend, Donielle, was there with us, and our neighbor and her grandson, Bryce, were there with us, too.

Thank you, Liz!

I'm so excited. I got a call from my cousin, Liz, yesterday. As a "thank you" for taking her wedding pictures she has purchased four tickets to the Jacksonville Jaguars game in Jacksonville for me, Brian and the boys the Sunday after Thanksgiving (we will be in Jacksonville already that week celebrating Thanksgiving with Mom B). She is going to take Erin that day to have a "girls day" with her and Sidney while we are at the game. The Jags are my favorite team (regardless of how good or bad they are), and I haven't been to a game in Jacksonville since I moved down here in 2001. I am so excited to be able to go again, and even more excited that my boys will all be able to experience my favorite team with me!!

Thank you again Liz. This is such a thoughtful gift, and I am so excited to be going to the game next month. Erin is already excited to spend the day with the two of you, too!!!!

GO USF!!

We took the kids to a Halloween festival at Largo Park this past weekend, and before it got too dark I got a few pictures of Erin in her costume. Go Bulls!!!!!!

Have you ever seen a cuter cheerleader? I think NOT!!!!!! Just imagine the bouncing curls. This girl loves to do her cheers.

There is also a picture of Sherry (Erin's Godmother, and her grandson). They met us at the park for the festival, and I only managed to get one picture. It's a bit grainy because I didn't have my external flash with me, and they were too fast for me to get the proper settings adjusted without the flash. Still a cute shot of the three of them.

Various pictures

These are just a few random shots from this past weekend that I'm late putting up on the blog. Why? I've had the flu. It's been a fun week.

The picture of Erin in the window is at a pizza shop at Clearwater Beach that is owned by our next door neighbor, Eric. He and his wife, from Philadelphia, own the little shop, and we occassionally go down to visit them at the shop, eat some good pizza, and then watch the sunset (the shop is one block from the beach). Erin was inside of the shop (Eric is standing behind Erin) looking out at me when I took the picture.

St. Petersburg Pier

The weather was beautiful so we took the kids down to walk along the pier, throw the frisbee in the park, and just play outside for a bit.
